    Description:

    World Wetland day is celebrated across the globe on 2nd February. Point Calimere Bird sanctuary- Kodiakkarai in Nagapattinam district (RAMSAR site) and Vedantangal Bird sanctuary in Kanchipuram district is one of the most ideal wetland sites of Tamilnadu. Arignar Anna Zoological Park exhibits birds of these places in a separate enclosure. To commemorate World Wetland day 2021, on 1.2.2021 Arignar Anna Zoological Park is organizing a special awareness event to know more about water, wetlands and life by the field expects and zookeepers.
