Leopards are powerful big cats. They are agile and opportunistic hunters that have been able to exploit habitats unused by other large felines. It spends a great deal of its time high in the tree branches.
International Leopard Day is observed on 3rd May every year to increase global awareness about the status of leopards and the various threats that are causing a fast decline in their wild population.
On this day, let's unite to support the cause of protecting one of the world's most iconic big cats, the leopard. To take part in conservation efforts adopt a leopard from the zoo, which means you take care of the feed and maintenance costs of the animal. For which an 80G tax exemption certificate is provided.
