    Arignar Anna Zoological Park is excited to share this great news, 6 more wetland sites in Tamilnadu is included in the covoted list of Ramsar Sites.

    A Ramsar Site is a wetland site with international significance under the Ramsar Convention. It is an international agreement established by UNESCO for the conservation and sustainable use of wetland sites.

    In addition to the earlier inclusion of 3 wetlands from TamilNadu, after 20 years the covoted list of Ramsar sites now includes 6 more wetlands sites
