    National Bird Day is observed on the 12th of November every year to honour the prominent ornithologist Salim Ali on his birth anniversary, who is also known as the "Birdman of India".  The day spreads awareness of the importance of protecting and survival of both captive and wild birds.

    Let's take this special day as an opportunity to discuss these ecological problems and educate people on taking the right actions to preserve birds worldwide.
