Today, the Virtual zoo ambassador programme began with a session on the need for conservation by Dr. A.Manimozhi (Biologist, AAZP). The session focused on the importance of conservation in the global aspect. Challenges on mother earth, threats on biodiversity, conservation needs of wild flora and fauna were also discussed in detail to enlight the young minds on the need for conservation.3
