Nilgiri Langur is one of the endangered animals of India, endemic to the Western Ghats region. The animal is exhibited in an open naturalistic environment in a wet moated enclosure simulating their natural habitat. Cave model rest sheds are provided inside the enclosure. The exhibit is enriched with rope hangings, bridges to stimulate the natural habitat. The enclosure is planted with Pithecellobium dulce (Koddukka puli in Tamil) one of its most favorite diets.
